The Hack Agency, Inc. is an independent insurance agency located in Mount Kisco, the commercial hub of Northern Westchester County, New York, 40 miles north of New York City. The agency has its roots in the community dating back to 1918. In 1955, Eugene T. Hack started an insurance agency in Mount Kisco and, as a result of several mergers of local agencies in subsequent years, the firm Hack-Schaefer-Ticknor, Inc. was created in 1971 with Eugene Hack as its President and Principal. When he retired in February 1991, his daughter, Nancy M. Hack, formed the successor firm, The Hack Agency, Inc., where she carries on the family tradition.

We at The Hack Agency meet the insurance needs of our personal and business clients in their suburban, urban and multi-state communities. We protect their homes and autos and provide the personal insurance they need through the companies we represent, including the special requirements of high-valued homes and valuable articles. Businesses are protected by many comprehensive programs available from our companies. While the majority of our clients are located in New York, the agency is licensed also in neighboring Connecticut and New Jersey, and other states.
